Tommy Aldridge started his musical career in the band "Black Oak Arkansas" where he came to record at least nine records. In his next Band playing alongside with Pat Travers he also recorded five records. He conquered a good reputation playing drums and so Ozzy put his eyes on hin for his band. With Ozzy Osbourne he recorded the albums "Diary of a madman" and "Bark at the moon". In 1984 he left the band to join Gary Moore in his album "Dirty fingers", and in 1989 he hooks up with Whitesnake to record the album " Slip of the tongue".  This is not the last time he joined David Coverdale's band. He has also collaborated with Manic Eden, Motorhead and Ted Nugent. He is a Skillfull drumer able to use the whole drums (it is not unusual drums are decorated with elements nobody uses), and when he plays live he usally makes the audience become crazy playing long solos barehanded .
